The Closed Joint-stock Company "Uralelecromash" was founded in 1950 for production of electrical equipment of the military-indusrtial complex. The basic direction - manufacture of highly relaible engines of a series ДМ, 2ДМШ, 3ДМШ, 4ДМШ, рДМ, ДТР, ДШР, АМ, ЭДПН. In conditions of convertion the plant elaborated and certified electric motors with short-circuited rotor for the federal railway transport and of general industrial purpose. The enterprise continues manufacturing of special marine electric motors with acceptance of the Marine register and Military acceptance for shipbuilding by orders of the Navy as drives for pumps, tans, compressors.
