The ice breaker “Vaigach” came to work at the Northern Sea Way.
The ice breaker “Vaigach” goes in four-months expedition on the 1st of July. During this time it will follow vessels through the Northern Sea Way going for Sakhalin and Chukotka within the frames of exploration of the Artic shelf.
Navigational season on the Northern sea way continues. The ice breaker “Vaigach” goes for the long-term journey, it can go through ices with thickness up to 1 meter 70 centimeters and work in bays and rivers.
