PJSC Enel Russia is a power generating company, and Enel’s key asset in Russia.
Enel Russia operates the following gas power plants: Konakovskaya GRES, Nevinnomysskaya GRES, Sredneuralskaya GRES. A coal power plant Reftinskaya GRES remains in interim operation by the company during the transition period required to complete the transaction with JSC Kuzbassenergo which received the ownership rights on October 1, 2019.
The company’s total gross installed electrical capacity is 5,628.7 MW (equivalent to 5,255.4 MW net installed capacity) and thermal capacity is 2,032 Gcal/h.
In June 2017 Enel Russia was awarded two wind projects, of 201 MW in Murmansk region and 90 MW in Rostov region, in a federal public tender. In June 2019 the company was awarded another wind project of 71 MW in Stavropol region. The total company’s investments in wind generation amount to around 495 mln euro.
